10 Herbs For Breast Enhancement

We must, we must, increase our bust!

I remember hearing that little ditty as a child. I think I read it in a book or something. I can’t remember but that one simple phrase sure stuck with me.

Women are absolutely inundated with advertisements regarding breast size. There is no size that is “just right.” Smaller breasted women are encouraged to seek out options for breast enlargement. Larger chested women are told to flaunt what they have but when they do, they are chastised for it. It’s crazy making right?

For me, I think ALL women with ANY sized breast should embrace them as simply another part of the body. Sure, they have the awesome milk-making super powers, but when they aren’t pulling out all the stops to nourish a child, then really, they are just another part of the body albeit a sensitive one. Its clever marketing that makes them more interesting than what they are.

A woman wearing a pink sports bra is measuring the size of her breasts. She is wondering if there are herbs for breast enhancement.

Anyway, I believe that all women should be able to “enhance” their breasts. And by enhance, I mean take care of them. Nourish them. Keep the skin vibrant. Keep the tissues healthy. Keep blood flowing. You get the idea. And hey – if a smaller chested woman happens to get a little “lift” out of the deal, well cool. If a larger chested women sees a little less sagging, well cool too. But really, let’s just nourish those bad babies like we would the rest of our body.

Before we dive into the 10 Herbs For Breast Enhancement, lets discuss a couple of key words I will be using.

Phyto-estrogens – these mimic our body’s own estrogen and they are produced by plants. That’s why herbs (and food) play a big role in natural breast health (and in some cases enlargement). Phyto-estrogens may help increase your breasts’ perkiness by stimulating the estrogens naturally produced by your body. This stimulation of your body’s own estrogen will help the milk ducts get bigger, which will lead to a possible increase in breast size or just a general “lifted” appearance.

Phyto-progestins – are plant based progesterones. Both the areolas and milk glands get bigger due to the progesterone the body produces. Phyto-progestins also help make the breasts more round.

Androgens – are known as the male hormones, which are produced by testosterone. The herbs I focus on here are considered anti-adrogens because they may help prevent the testosterone in your body from producing dihydrotestosterone or DHT. An anti-androgen herb may help reduce the amount of DHT in your system so that estrogens have more room.

Prolactin – this is the hormone that is known for helping women produce milk. When prolactin activates the production of breast milk it will lead to swelling. The swelling is what causes the actual breast growth, because your breast tissues grow when they stretch.

Alright, so now that all those tricky little definitions are out of the way, let’s talk about…

10 Herbs For Breast Enhancement

You will see LOTS of herbs here that mention a change in breast size. Please remember that natural breast enlargement encompasses not just a change in size but also in the perkiness and firmness of the breast as well. The tissues will tighten and overall, things will get a little lift.

Blessed Thistle

One of the known benefits of this plant is to stimulate milk-flow in breastfeeding mothers. This means that when used in non-pregnant or non-lactating women, it can mimic the effect by tricking the body into thinking that it is meant to create milk and therefore more breast tissue will grow. You can find a good blessed thistle tincture here.

Damiana

Damiana is a small shrub high in phytochemicals such as alpha-pinene, beta-carotene, beta-pinene and beta-sisterol. Damiana is primarily used for treating female hormone imbalances. This assists in the natural breast enlargement process by regulating all kinds of things that are out of whack.

Fennel

Fennel is second only to Fenugreek in estrogenic compounds. It’s also been used throughout history to enhance breast size and promote milk production in nursing mothers. Fennel is rich in phyto-nutrients that may enhance breast growth. It can also help regulate menstrual cycles making it a pretty powerful little herb. This is my favorite brand of fennel seeds.

Fenugreek

Fenugreek is widely used to help women increase the production of milk in their breasts. However, this herb is known to help increase breast size too. Fenugreek contains various phyto-estrogens that will help with breast development by stimulating prolactin production and imitating the effects of estrogen. This fenugreek tincture is awesome.

Hops

This herb contains a phytoestrogen named 8-prenylnaringenin. The estrogenic activity in this herb is considered one of the most potent, and it’s also considered an anti-androgen. I like this hops tincture and these dried hops.

Motherwort

Motherwort stimulates tissue development and increases blood circulation, which makes it useful both for breast health in general but also for lifting and firming. The better the blow flow, the better the overall health of the breast. This is the motherwort tincture I like.

Red Clover

Red clover is an excellent source of various phytoestrogens like genistein. This substance is particularly ideal for enhancing your bust because it readily attaches itself to the human estrogen receptors, which control breast growth. This is a super yummy red clover tea.

Saw Palmetto

This herb is most widely known as an anti-androgen and for its role in reversing the shriveling of mammary glands. It’s breast enhancing effects are a result of its phyto-nutrients, which stimulate breast tissue. This saw palmetto supplement is very high quality.

Sheep Sorrel

Also called dock or sorrel, sheep sorrel is a great herb for breast enhancement because it contains many phytoestrogens that stimulate your body’s own estrogen. The two kinds of sheep sorrel that are commonly used are French sorrel and wild sorrel. This is a high quality sheep sorrel extract.

Wild Yam

In Herbal Healing for Women, author Rosemary Gladstar states that wild yam (Dioscorea villosa) “is the most widely used herb in the world today,” with derivatives of the herb present in thousands of prescription and over-the-counter medicines. It is used both as a breast enhancer and a sexual stimulant, and is recommended by herbalist Susan Weed, author of Breast Health! for fostering healthy breast tissue. Susan Weed suggests adding the herb to creams for breast massage and notes that women using this mixture see improvements in both breast health and size.

And there you have it! 10 Herbs For Breast Enhancement. Will give any of these a try?

If you are interested, I actually created a recipe for breast enhancing cream. Check it out. It has a good success rate.

Hi Jennifer, Can you share how much fennel seed you’d recommend taking for breast enhancement? And, really amounts for any of the recommended herbs? Thanks!

Hi there! Do not use more than 1 tsp. of fennel seeds once daily. Most people just brew a strong cup of tea using 4-6 ounces of water and 1 tsp of fennel seeds. For the herbs I listed tinctures for, just follow the guidelines on the tincture label. For the other loose herbs, you want to brew a strong tea like I outlined for the fennel but you can use up to a tablespoon of the rest of the herbs. I hope that helps! I should go update my post with all that info actually. Not sure why I never included it.

Hello I’m 53 years old, and I’m just wondering if I could ask a few questions about a recipe to make a herbal blend for my breast, I don’t have small breast, but they’re starting to deflate, or is it not going to work to get them fuller, by using herbs and things like that, thanks

These herbs will actually help with this! They strengthen the breast tissue, give them lift, and “perk them up” for lack of a better term.

I’m considering taking several of these tinctures. Any reason not to take more than one at a time?

Nope! You can take them at the same time without issue. However, I would start with one for a day or two and then add the next one in. That way, if you do have an unknown allergy, you know which one caused the problem.
