You should think of this as between six and eight average glasses every day.
Drinking water is the best way to ensure you have the right fluid intake, but if you want to mix what you drink it’s fine to do so. Stick to drinking water as much as possible and have smaller amounts of tea, coffee, fruit juice or other low-calorie drinks. It’s also important to note that if you have been vomiting, or have had diarrhea, you may need some extra help with rehydrating.
