The Mindful Mama Carnival is something I look forward to participating in. Mindfulness is something that I am conscious of day in and day out. Living a mindful life, parenting mindfully, being in a mindful relationship with Rasta Daddy are all a natural part of who I am and who I strive to be.
From Touchstone Z's Call for Carnival Submissions Post: “We all talk about how we want to bring more connectedness into our lives. We may want to connect with spirit, our bodies, acceptance, forgiveness or simply to find peace. Whether you already have a practice that centers you or you want to have a practice, but haven't yet begun, here is a chance to write about what keeps you going or keeps you from starting and read what others are experiencing on their own journeys.”
You might remember my last post from this Carnival. It discussed how I center myself through sneaking meditation into my day. Meditation is definitely one way to work on mindfulness.
Some of us need more guidance though. Perhaps we are unsure of how to go about bringing more connectedness into our lives. Maybe we are not confident in our own ability to stick to and benefit from a practice that makes us more aware of ourselves, our families, and our world. Maybe we have such deep discord within our self that the thought of digging out from it is too overwhelming. This is all probably true for more mamas than we think. Finding inner peace and then internalizing that through living mindfully is no small feat. It is downright difficult. But once you get “there,” to that place where you can live a mindful life in harmony and balance with everything around you…all the work and struggle to achieve this will be worth it beyond comprehension. When you ARE mindful, when you ARE balanced, when you ARE connected to yourself and others in a way you never knew was possible, a way that transcends any description, a way that you just have to breath into and live…your life will unfold and become THE life that you hope for, for your own children. You deserve the life you wish for others.
Enter – Lauren Luquin and the Intuitive Heart Ecourse. Now, before you go anywhere, let me state that this Ecourse is FREE. Ok – I hopefully have your attention now.
You might remember Lauren from one of my 6 month Blogiversary giveaways. She is the talented artist behind the beautiful works found in the Visionwise Etsy Shop. Lauren is such a special, special, deeply connected woman who places great value on helping other women on their individual journeys through this crazy beautiful life. She has been feeling the pull to do something different, something profound, something enlightening. Lauren wanted to create a way for women to connect and dig deep into their personal awareness, coming out more grounded, more aware, more connected, and more inspired.
Remember how I mentioned that living mindfully and finding your own center of peace is not something that many mamas can do alone? Well – this Ecourse is exactly what mamas need to guide them through their journeys.
From Lauren: “2012 is a powerful turning point as we raise our collective consciousness, and ascend to higher realms of communicating- transcending what we no longer need, and realizing what we do need. Beyond that, we must learn and integrate into our daily life, healing and sustainable practices, as we take actions that reflect our intention.”
That last thought in bold…POWERFUL! That alone is why mamas should come together to support each other as we go through our own personal awakenings. Because it is HARD to take actions that reflect our intention when we are going it alone.
So what is this ECourse all about? I encourage you go to Lauren's site and explore it further. However, I want to provide you with what I believe is the best description of the course from Lauren's site. “I have created this sacred space to let our hearts stay open as we clear out negativity, and nullify thoughts of lack, and limitation. We will use meditation techniques and affirmations, and do exercises that will strengthen our intuition, and increase our psychic awareness, as we proceed through our time together. As a participant in this course (or even just as an attentive observer), you will be encouraged to see through any illusion blocking you from achieving your goals, and keeping you from trusting your intuition. It is likely that during the course you'll feel more creative, aware, in-tune, centered, peaceful, in control, and more confident. Some of your lifelong beliefs that keep you stagnant will be challenged, and you will begin to transform and fully blossom in your awareness. You'll learn how to stop destroying yourself with your thoughts and experience more self-love, as you recognize your place in the circle of life, and how our every thought and action make a difference.”
The course runs for 7 weeks from January 8, 2012 – February 26, 2012. I have already signed up. Remember – it is FREE! (Although it would be such a mindful gesture if you could donate even a few dollars to Lauren for all the time she spent create this space and this course.)
As mindful as I may attempt to be, there is still much work that I need to do. And this is the safe, supportive space that I can do it in. I cannot think of a better way to start the new year.
Blessings to you on your journey!
